A life Intimate with “Water”

The essence of life is water. To appreciate the great blessing of nature and to make contact
with life with a sense of attachment is a “life intimate with water.”

“Water” is indispensable to all our lives. The earth is called the planet of water and has kept an exquisite balance with “water,” which is a blessing bestowed by nature. However, the global environment has lost balance with the march of human progress and the self-purification of the earth can no longer keep pace. To be more specific, the contamination of “water” that is most important to the lives of humans is in the process of becoming a serious problem for us. Maruichi, a manufacturer of systems and parts of general water supply equipment, termed the development of the environment where people can richly coexist with water, a “life intimate with water” by studying the preciousness of water from its basic points, and propose and practice the importance of water. We are not only focusing our attention on the splendor and greatness of water but also actively addressing our challenges to water in our lives, that is, a “life intimate with water” as our corporate mission by paying careful attention to even small drops of water.

We propose a water circulation system in consideration of the global environment of tomorrow.
Maruichi tackles “water” from all angles as a proposal-oriented company.

Water has various properties. One of them is to dissolve a substance and change it into a liquid. Such a property is often beneficial, but it may not always be so. For example, there is a case where a hazardous substance is dissolved in water. When a large quantity of toxins are dissolved in water to the extent that self-purification of the earth cannot keep pace, it adversely affects various living things. In addition to industrial wastewater being regarded as a problem, the problem of domestic wastewater has also been regarded as an important issue in recent years. For your information, it is said that the Japanese per capita usage of domestic non-commercial water per day is approximately 300 liters. This capacity corresponds to approximately two bathtubs of water, and most of such water flows into rivers or the sea as wastewater under present conditions. With the above considered, it can be said that flowing wastewater in a clean state can lead to the preservation of a normal circulation system on earth. Maruichi, as a research-and-development-oriented company, intends to work toward the development of new products by proposing ideas to secure clean and pure water wherever possible and pursue the ease and comfort of using water supply equipment.

Basic Environmental Philosophy

Maruichi termed the development of the environment where people can richly coexist with water a “life intimate with water,” and has proposed and practiced this. We intend to actively work toward becoming a community-contributor company and manufacture products friendly to water, people, and the earth as our corporate mission to pass a better relationship with water and its cleanliness onto the future.
